Butter Goods, or just Butter, was founded in 2008 in Australia. qUINT has successfully carried the brand for a few seasons. Butter draws inspiration from different cultures and subcultures, and the meeting of cultures in particular inspires them. One collaboration that can be said to be a meeting of two cultures is the collaboration between Butter and the cartoon phenomenon Peanuts.
Peanuts is a comic strip created by American Charles M. Schulz back in 1950. Published in 21 languages in 75 countries from 1950 until Charles' death in 2000, the strip follows a group of children friends and their "daily challenges". With the series, Charles illustrated both small and big problems of everyday life and the world for grown-ups but through a humorous, philosophical and psychologically reflective approach through the children and their childlike universe in the comic strip.
If Peanuts don't ring a bell, Snoopy certainly will. The little white dog, Snoopy, originated as a spinoff of Peanuts, and made his debut in the series as Søren Brun's (originally Charlie Brown) dog and constant companion. Snoopy is the playful, imaginative element of the Peanuts universe. He is a dog with many talents - typically he walks on his hind legs, he often uses his typewriter, and he can play the saxophone, among other things.
The Peanuts cartoon print and Snoopy motifs fit perfectly into Butter's universe, which features one or more slightly cartoonish graphic elements each season, recurring throughout the collection.
At qUINT, we've curated a selection of styles from the collab across jeans, sweats, t-shirts, a jacket and a cap. As with everything from Butter, there's only one drop, so there are no restocks - first come, first served.
